Client - Good To Be Good (Non-Profit Organisation)

Overview

GOOD TO BE GOOD is an intersectional, community-wide, grassroots humanitarian and advocacy organization with a mission to serve women and marginalized communities and help build a kind and equal world.

Through low-barrier mentorship, foundational training, community-building activities, resource-sharing, and other development opportunities, this free, community-led, capacity-building program provides comprehensive and inclusive workshops that enhance economic readiness, leadership confidence, and entrepreneurship skills and knowledge.

Goal

To create visually compelling and impactful digital banners for GOOD TO BE GOOD that effectively communicate the mission, engage target audience, and promote their social and environmental initiatives, ultimately driving increased awareness and support for the nonprofit organization.

Rationale

The digital banner design encapsulates the essence of GOOD TO BE GOOD by infusing a bold and vibrant visual voice into their online presence. It serves as a dynamic visual representation of their organization, tailored for integration into their newsletters, presentations, and website.

This project embarked on a creative journey with two distinct directions, one centered on showcasing the unique voice of GTBG and the other on depicting the strength and diversity of their community. As I delved deeper into the design process, the former direction emerged as the clear choice, capturing the spirit and identity of GOOD TO BE GOOD.

The selected digital banner design marries the organizational values with a captivating visual narrative. It emphasizes the resonance and impact of the mission while reinforcing the commitment to driving positive change in both social and environmental spheres.

Amidst the creative process, we explored various design concepts, one of which is presented here as an exciting alternative. Although it did not make the final cut, this design reflects the dynamic and creative nature, seeking innovative ways to engage the audience and communicate the message.
